💜This is not a Goodbye...✨
It is difficult to put into words what Ame Gallery has meant to me.
When I founded the gallery in 2011, I simply wanted to create a space where people in Hong Kong could discover and connect with contemporary jewellery. I could never have imagined the journey that would follow, or the many talented artists, jewellers, customers and friends I would meet along the way.
It has brought me so much joy to represent the work of remarkable artists and jewellers from Hong Kong and around the world. I am also very proud that Ame Gallery has helped bring contemporary jewellery to a wider audience in Hong Kong, while creating opportunities for Hong Kong jewellery artists to share their work on international platforms.
After more than 15 years, we have made the difficult decision to close Ame Gallery at the end of 2026. This has not been an easy decision, as the gallery has been such a significant part of my life.
To everyone who has supported us, collaborated with us, visited the gallery, collected a piece or simply shared our love of contemporary jewellery- THANK YOU🙏. Every conversation, exhibition, friendship and moment of encouragement has meant more than I can say.
I am especially grateful to Rachel for her dedication and for taking such wonderful care of the gallery. We could not have continued this journey without her. Also a big thank you to Jade, Adele, Tania, Doris, Tina and Tina for working alongside us all these years at the gallery.💜💜
Although this chapter is coming to an end, the relationships, memories and shared passion we have built will remain. Throughout October, November and December, Rachel and I will be hosting a series of farewell events to celebrate Ame Gallery’s journey with you. We will share more details very soon and hope you can join us.
So, this is not goodbye. It is a heartfelt thank you—and the beginning of one final chapter together.
With love and gratitude,
Anna
