But we at Convitis also believe that the presence of many high-end micro-producers makes our local market very unique, especially regarding food: oliv
e oil, vinegar, cheese, mineral water and, last but not least, wine. Many of these passionate “artists” deliver their products trying to preserve a family tradition but sometimes these goodies are not available in other countries. As italians we know what a great experience is to visit a farm or a winery in person, see how they work, meet and talk to the people who work there, try their products and get valuable advices. It is a completely different approach to shopping, comparing to browsing in a supermarket and dialing with shopping list. Our mission at Convitis Ltd is to scout, carefully select and bring only the best products from Italy to Hong Kong, our “diamonds”. We are present 24/7 both in Hong Kong and Italy and we dial with Italian producers directly. We import and store complying with a strict temperature control policy because we want to preserve all the characteristics intact at their best.
