You always ask me: “How did you end up in Hong Kong—and how did you build your jewellery business?”

It started with a simple chance. In the 80s, I came to Hong Kong on a business trip. And the moment I was here, I thought: this is it. Hong Kong wasn’t just inspiring—it was a place where you could actually design jewellery and then find people to handmake it for you.

So I began the only way I knew how: small and consistent.
Every weekend, I’d go step by step—browsing jewellery shops, learning, choosing gems, and designing little pieces. I’d wear them, and my friends loved what I made… so they asked for their own too.

No huge investment. Just passion, reinvesting, and growing what I loved.

And there’s something I really believe: when you can’t—or don’t want to—buy the “famous” brands, you create something even better… for people who appreciate true craft.

That’s how it began. Bit by bit. Piece by piece. 🤍

These unique pearls, known as Keshi, form when Akoya oysters produce a tiny kernel of pure pearl without a bead. While they are a byproduct of the culturing process, their completely organic shapes make them a true marvel of nature!

I’ve been collecting these exquisite gems since the ‘90s and have some truly rare pieces in my collection, including beautiful Keshi pearl pens and a statement long necklace.
