This 1972 Rolex Day-Date ref. 1803 pairs an 18ct yellow gold case with a beautifully warm “Cappuccino” dial. In the light, its surface shifts between soft ch*****ne and deeper coffee hues, framed by the fluted bezel.

The brown leather strap brings warmth and an understated elegance to the combination, while the German day wheel adds a distinctive detail at twelve o’clock. At 36mm, the proportions feel beautifully balanced a watch with presence that never needs to shout.

Presented in excellent condition, this is a vintage Day-Date for those drawn to the finer details: colour, texture and the pleasure of wearing something with its own history.
