Wedgwood Jasperware…I’m a little obsessed with it.

So much so, I had an idea to try an recreate a version of it with polymer clay. Images 1-3 is from the V&A museum in London. See image 4 & 5 to see a glimpse of my work process. Final result coming in a different post.

The 2027 vision for Studio Khira: Less Jewellery, more decor.

From next year I’ll be focusing on home decor. It’s more of an evergreen product after all for wholesale and retail.

I’m also going to explore and experiment with new materials such as plaster powder and eco resin.

Ill still have jewellery but it’s going a new collection range with new designs and materials other than polymer clay.

These current collections will be available until January, but I’m planning a big sale around the end November. After that, I’ll slowly be removing things, to upcycle into decor pieces bc , you know, sustainability.

Crochet is unaffected, but I have a few plans for that too. ❤️.

I’m not sure why I don’t put a spotlight on YASMEEN more often.

She is a gorgeous pink polymer clay arch embellished with the prettiest glass and agate beads, and is a real conversation starter in all her eclectic beauty.

YASMEEN is not for those who don’t like heavy earrings, however. She’s not the heaviest earrings but there is a little weight to her. Even so, isn’t she lovely?

I made three pairs of her, each with the same bead selection but the colours being slightly different. Have a look a slides 3-5 to get a better idea of the colour combinations and a close up of YASMEEN’s design.
