This was a gorgeous duo to make, and the first for the new ring design…

I met A&G at a recent event in Dublin. Both are from Spain and living in Dublin but G was moving back to Madrid a few days later, for good. They saw the new ring design, I talked them through the personalisation options and within a few minutes they’d chosen exactly what they wanted - a ring each to feel close together when apart.

They decided on a photo that they both loved. I sketched the outline and it translated beautifully into an engraving, and onto the new Portrait Slip Ring. They added 2025, a year of significance to them, to be placed just below their silhouettes.

The orders were placed on a Sunday and I was delighted to have them handmade and engraved within a day so that they received them together, before G left Ireland.

Thank you ladies. It was an absolute joy to meet you both and make these special pieces for you.

A new Connect Bracelet joined a pretty cool stack, to celebrate her husband’s birthday.

It was made all the more special by holding a special memory of a loved one in the engraving.

This particular one was made extra chunky and the result was perfect. Going forward each Connect Bracelet ordered for your husband, partner, brother, Dad, or Grandad will be made extra chunky (if desired). I’ve updated the product page to provide this option.

I met O at a recent event in Dublin. She had been living in Ireland for some time and was ‘so excited to have something engraved’. After some deliberation she decided on Grá in Ogham alphabet on the front side of each earring and her name in Ogham alphabet on the back of each earring.

There was something very special in engraving Ogham - the earliest known form of Gaelic.

Thank you, O for choosing a pair of Slip Shortie Drop Earrings, and giving me the opportunity to produce these beautiful engravings.

Wrapping up May (and April!) ... Plus what’s to come in June and some other little bits…

The standout highlights have been celebrating little Billy’s 4th birthday; launching By Leahy Brides; meeting Mollie; creating pieces to celebrate multiple marriages, birthdays, love, and friendship; finally designing the much-awaited new rings (plus some); sampling a new idea with the beautiful Galway Wool, and taking part in the Irish PopUp Collective.

Days later and still in awe of this lady’s achievement in the London Marathon. The second fastest lady from Ireland, a sub 3hr marathon (02:50:34), and a PB! all the while raising a young family with four children. Blows my mind!

Caroline, you are just epic!

And yes, I spotted the Slip Necklace being put through its paces and keeping her company - I was chuffed.

To quote Caroline, ‘always chase your dreams, don’t ever think you’re not enough.’ ♥️☘️💪🏼🔥

This will be a gorgeous day out…

Over sixty Irish brands and businesses are taking part in the Summer pop-up featuring a wide variety of products and designs, perfect for the Summer season.

The Summer Irish PopUp Collective takes place in the Carlisle Suite at the Royal Marine Hotel in Dun Laoghaire from 10am-6pm on Sunday 17th May.

On top of seeing every collection in person, in the four precious metal options, I will be giving an exclusive preview of new designs. I will also be talking visitors and customers through the personalisation experiences. AND, I will be showcasing the new offering - Bridal By Leahy.

Hope to see you on the day!
