A good glass install completely changes the feel of a campervan. It’s not just about how it looks from the outside — it makes a massive difference inside too. 😍

What it gives you:

✔️ More natural light inside the van
✔️ Better visibility when driving
✔️ A more open and less boxed-in feel
✔️ Better airflow and ventilation
✔️ That proper campervan look and feel

Starting with a bare panel van can feel pretty dark and enclosed, so once the glass goes in, the whole van starts to feel more like a camper and less like a work van.

Update on our T6.1 SWB project 🚐🔥

We’ve now added an Austops pop top to this build and it's completely transformed the van both inside and out. 😍

A pop top is one of the best upgrades you can add to your campervan if you want to make the most of the space you have. It gives you:

✔️ Standing room inside the van
✔️ Extra sleeping space
✔️ More natural light & airflow
✔️ A more open feel inside

For SWB vans especially, a pop top makes a massive difference without sacrificing drivability.

Built to keep maximum floor space while still allowing room for 4 bikes 🚲, bench seating and practical storage for changing and days out.

Features include:

✔️ Full LED lighting kit 💡
✔️ USB & 12V charging ports 🔌
✔️ Sound deadening & insulation package

The factory crew cab area was fully stripped and insulated to give the van a quieter, more comfortable feel on the road.

T6.1 SWB in to get summer ready ☀️🚐

First stage of this build completed to get the customer on the road, with the second stage furniture layout coming later to give them time to really nail down the perfect setup for their needs.

This time we started with a bare van with bulkhead and added:

✔️ Austops pop top
✔️ Clayton off-grid power system
✔️ Full carpet lining
✔️ Triple insulation & sound deadening
✔️ Full glass install
✔️ 130 wide 3-seater RIB bed
✔️ Double swivel seat base

The Clayton power source has also been positioned correctly for the future furniture layout when stage two comes around.

A clean, practical setup ready for summer — with plenty more still to come 👌
