It is hard to believe that 10 years have passed.
I wanted to share a little of what has happened since you left us.
Emma and Darren have now joined me at the bench—Darren as a goldsmith and diamond setter, and Emma as a diamond setter and engraver. Our small workshop has grown immensely, and I have found a renewed love for the trade, working alongside them each day.
Bernie continues to look after the shop floor, welcoming everyone who walks through the door with a smile. As you always said, she still has the “gift of the gab.”
Joey has moved further afield and settled in Australia, with phone calls and FaceTime keeping us connected. You always knew he would spread his wings.
You took great pride in the business, Dad, and I know you would be proud of everything we have achieved since your passing. I hope you are looking down on us today with pride.
