Flying to Germany already in less than a week! First, meetings with friends, and then of course Munich Jewelry Week! Very excited to be showing with - and also assist in curating - two very interesting shows. The “Selling Face” by DVIZH I mentioned in my previous post, but also an incredible initiative by and .zhanna.kz to show data art through wearable objects will be exhibited in Hendwerk Messe this year. An absolute must see, I was at their opening in Astana, Kazakhstan and am very happy that Zhanna found ways to bring most of the show to Munich. The brooch on the picture in this post is one of my two pieces featured in the show - the one that visually shows statistics of Russia (blue sky), percentage of russians that were opposing the war in Ukraine (white cloud) and those who were able to leave the country after the beginning of the invasion (red plane).

If you wanted to tell me I have a typo in “Valentine’s”, then shush! Galentine’s is celebrated on February 13th and it’s for the GALS! Me and my friend Tamar decided (a bit last-minute, I know) that we wanna throw a fun jewelry workshop in our studio in Tel Aviv - for the GALS! You’ll learn some basic silversmithing (silver is included in the price, which, considered current silver prices, is basically a steal:)), play with some beads and as a result will make a cute necklace - as a gift for yourself or for your favorite gal. Also, some light day drinking will be taking place (we prepared rosé and snacks) because I mean it’s Galentine’s, of course there will be day drinking.
