g 1100 jewellers from across the country as members. At our GJTCI- Education Division , the perfect combination of creativity & technique makes our student a successful jewellery designer. The institute stands for its quality education with affordable price to cater all the classes of people. The courseline is designed in such a way that even a person who can not hold a pencil starts drawing excellent designs. We train students in all 3 major jewellery i.e. Gold, Jadtar & Diamond. We believe that only in-house learning is not all, students must also know the market. For this, we take our students for field-trips. This would give the students the real idea of the market in which they have to actually work. COURSELINE :
1) LINE DRAWING : this stage includes various kinds of lines like horizental, vertical, zigzad, mountain pattern. This helps getting control over the hand.
2) SHAPE STAGE : practice of a shape card compiling almost all basic shapes to develop the designing skill.
3) 3-D DESIGNING : giving 3-D effects to rings & bengals makes the design so effective that it starts speaking about itself.
4) GOLD : It includes different types of work in gold like rawa wok, veni work, filigree work etc. the combination of all these work will be used in making the design. Starting from developing small designs of pendants & earrings, the students will end up making the whole set in gold.
5) JADTAR : This is an age old method of making jewellery. It includes the basic work, particular shapes & ‘tikda’.
6) DIAMOND : it includes the understanding of the basic, the different settings & shapes.
7) PROJECT WORK : The student will be given any theme or concept on which the project has to be prepared. It includes theory & designing both. On the basis of the project report, the students will be given different grades. Successful candidate will be awarded with the GJTCI certificate. JOB OPPORTUNITY
The council will create opportunities for its students to help them out in their career. After completion of the course there are 3 options available for the students i.e. Freelancing, Job & Teaching. The council helps the students in all these 3 options
