Hi all,
Summer already started and we are all facing the heat!
So I am here to tell something which I know.
You may have seen SPF -( sun protection factor) in your product labels. What is the meaning of thatt?
Here I am explaining little things I know. Sharing diy also .
It's a measure of how well a sunscreen will protect skin from UVB rays (ultra violet ) the kind of radiation that causes sunburn, damages skin and can contribute to skin cancer.
Coconut oil is the best sunscreen . It will protect you from sun.
But it has only 5-6 SPF
Titanium dioxide or zinc oxides are the best products which are contain SPF
SPF is related to the total amount of sun exposure rather than simply the length of sun exposure.
One simple recipe to make sun protection cream all by yourself at home.
1/2 cup each Shea butter and coconut oil
1-2 so zinc oxide
1 sp bees wax ( you can add more of you want thick balm type)
You can add essential oils if you want good smell. Avoid citrus***
Melt oil-butter and wax
Add essential oil and zinc oxide (after you take the vessel from heat)
Apply 2 hours once
Happy summer!
Keep hydrated and be safe!
With love ,
ZUE
