Makardah Saraswat Library
This library bears a great cultural heritage. Initially the library was formed with the collection of some cultural books. Gradually with the help of some learned and liberated inhabitants of this village, the library was turned into a public library. The library was sponsored by Govt. of West Bengal on 1980. The library did observe its silver & golden jubilee with the participation of renowned personalities in the last few years.
