❌⭕🛑 *BEWARE OF FRAUD which I EXPERIENCED IT YESTERDAY* ❌⭕❌
I posted an AD to be sold in OLX app nd one customer contacted me over fone directly nd accepted the deal over call without even worried to check nd verify my item am selling. He asked me to share the live location nd he said he will send the pickup boy to pick my item nd he will pay thru GPay before picking up my item. I shared my GPay number nd then he said he has a scanner code nd paying thru machine nd I need to accept the money he sent (shared code nd machine pic) nd he first sent 1rupee to check nd trap me into the next step. As soon as he sent 1rupee he asked me to receive that 1rupee by scanning tat QR ,where I got an option to only Pay (but not receive) nd my 1 rupee got debited frm my act . Then he said like wise he will send rest of the amount nd immediately he asked me to enter the full amt of the item as he said he already fwded the amt nd i need to accept it, but wen I see there is pay option after entering the amt then i stopped nd doubted that wen i supposed to receive money thru GPay easily without entering all such details , why am I paying it??! so immediately I shouted on him, damn u cheater, r u trying to fool me. Dnt I see the option of paying instead of receiving nd disconnected the call. He immediately called me nd asked me to return his 1rupee. I yelled nd blasted him over the phone nd blocked him nd he immediately deleted all his mesgs of scanner code nd machine pic nd fake mesgs of credited amt.
Intelligently I am out of this scam By Allah's grace. Alhamdulillah
This is again a new type of fraud which fraudulent are following to fool people. There must be many frauds in various ways. I came across 2 types of fraud till now. I fell into 1 of the Amazon fake mesgs link trap unfortunately where I lost money😭 nd tis time am out of the trap alhamdulilla. Sharing tis info to alert u all to stop using GPay/Ppay nd scanner codes especially online trnsctns.
