Following a highly successful pilot project that hallmarked over 17 lakh articles, BIS has integrated mandatory automatic weight and photograph capture into the system.

Visual Verification: Up to 3 photographs of the jewellery (including the etched HUID) are now captured.

Tamper-Proof Weight: Gross weight is automatically recorded by Assaying and Hallmarking Centres (AHCs).

Instant Consumer Verification: You can verify these photos and exact weights directly on the BIS Care App!
