It took over 1,200 workers and 330 days of round-the-clock work to clear the area of overhead cables, vehicles, and hawkers to create the tiled pathways you see today.

** Local folklore suggests the fort serves as a residence for 33 koti (types) of gods and goddesses.
**Only the priest is allowed to enter the main tower of the fort. Visitors can only view the exterior and the adjacent temple.
** To enter the inner courtyard, visitors must wear a Kinnauri Topi (cap) and a Kamarbandh (cloth belt), which are typically provided at the gate.

**স্থানীয় লোককথা অনুযায়ী, কামরু দুর্গ ৩৩ কোটি (প্রকারের) দেব-দেবীর বাসস্থান। দুর্গের প্রধান টাওয়ার বা মিনারে শুধুমাত্র পুরোহিতের প্রবেশের অনুমতি রয়েছে। দর্শনার্থীরা কেবল দুর্গের বাইরের অংশ এবং সংলগ্ন মন্দিরটি দেখতে পারেন।
**দুর্গের ভেতরের প্রাঙ্গণে প্রবেশ করতে হলে দর্শনার্থীদের অবশ্যই একটি 'কিন্নৌরি টুপি' এবং একটি 'কোমরবন্দ' (কাপড়ের বেল্ট) পরতে হয়, যা সাধারণত দুর্গের প্রবেশদ্বারেই সরবরাহ করা হয়।
