It's that time of the year now.. all orders despatched, most have already reached their destination, others will be reaching soon.. clearing my work-area which is actually a bed. No one was allowed to do anything on that bed, as there's no space for any other work! For more than two months, I worked, did exhibitions.. some went very well, some so bad it gave me self-doubt, managed customers, their orders, their special requirements, did photoshoots for all products, managed to do fb live (only one, though), made reels for products, kept my fb page rolling, answering every comment - trying to meet all fb requirements, brainstorming for new designs - some came easily, some took hours.. made each and every piece by my own hand, packing them, adding a small handwritten note with each one of them, checking and rechecking addresses and ph numbers, taking photos of each parcel and forwarding that to the customer, stood two hours in queue for despatching my first lot of parcels, forwarding the receipt, tracking them.. in this whole process, so many new designs I had to keep aside, embroideries and others - I will surely do them some other time..
The question is, will I repeat it? Of course I will! Not now but soon again I will be back It's exhausting, tiring, at times depressing but at the end of the day, totally satisfying. I started this journey almost 13 years back and there're miles to go...
