A Legacy that stood the test of time..

The brand started its journey back in 1950 when founder, Mr. Shiv Narayan Agarwal established the first Jewel Palace store at Chowk, Lucknow.

Along with working towards his dream of becoming a prominent name in the world of jewelry-making, he was also an avid social worker and a leader. He served as the Chief Warden of Civil Defense in Lucknow.

A man of strong religious beliefs and values, Mr. Agarwal is credited with the establishment of several temples in Lucknow. He also founded the Audyogik Anathalaya and served as the president of various guest houses around the city.His work towards social welfare has been highly appreciated and duly awarded.

Mr. Agarwal received the prestigious President’s Medal in 1996, followed by the Hussaini Award the same year, for extensive relief efforts toward those affected by floods.The cause of communal harmony and unity was close to his heart.

Mr. Agarwal also established the Sarvesh Vaishya Sabha with the aim of bringing together the 36 castes of the Vaishya community.

Second Generation

In 1975, the family business was handed over to the next generation, represented by Mr. Sanjay Agarwal, Mr. Ajay Agarwal, Mr. Sanjeev Agarwal, Mr. Sandeep Agarwal and Mr. Rajeev Agarwal. The next few decades saw the establishment of several stores at primary locations in the city, including Aminabad (1972) and Mahanagar (1998).

A Promising Future…

The baton has now been passed to the third generation-Mr. Ayush Agarwal, Mr. Arpit Agarwal and Mr. Yash Agarwal. With traditional values and innovative ideas, the future faces of the legacy are all set to take the brand to the next level.
