Ghanasingh Fine Jewels has always been a popular name in the jewellery industry for almost a century now. Currently headed by Kamlesh Hemdev, Ghanasingh got established in 1908, and is backed with a rich history dated to the pre-partition days. The real inspiration behind the jewellery store was the great grandfather Bhau Ghanasingh Hemdev (Hem means gold and Dev means God – the lord of gold). And his name is what led to the establishment of their first jewellery store in 1908 in Shikarpur in Multan. His son Nandlal Ghanasingh Hemdev too joined his father’s business at the young age of 14. Thanks to their hard work and relentless determination, there was been no looking back for Ghanasingh since then. It was at the young age of 16 when Kamlesh Hemdev stepped into the business. A stickler for perfection, he had hands-on knowledge about jewellery and a vision for the company, he started trading in diamonds at the young age of 22 and worked hard to make his dreams come true.
