Our Story
A couple strolled leisurely in the Grand Dubai Mall. While enjoying a vacation, who wouldn’t want to be surrounded by the most luxurious brands in the world? Glorious stores and windows sparkled with brilliant gemstones. Everything was beautiful, here on the floor dedicated to jewelry.
The man, an owner of a jewellery store, thought of his family business back home. It was doing very well. Some of the richest were already among their clients… But after a few steps, he realized that his wife’s familiar presence beside him was missing.
Reflexively, he turned around, and there she was. Standing outside a luxury store, with this intense expression of admiration and longing. She was looking up at a magnificent piece of jewelry on display. It was a bracelet nestled in luxurious red velvet, tastefully crafted with stunning diamonds.
Suddenly conscious of her husband’s gaze, she turned back to his direction, with a muted smile. He’d never forget it – that small, wistful smile on her lips as she joined him. That smile was a resignation; an acknowledgment that she could not afford such lavish jewelry.
