Diamonds, gemstones, gold and silver are mined in one set of countries, cut and polished and refined in yet others, set into jewellery in centres that include yet more countries and finally distributed to the big consuming centres that fly entirely different national flags. Networking is vital for all stakeholders in the production and distribution pipeline. While GEMKonnect provides an electronic

platform that reaches across oceans and continents to do just that, it recognises that actual business transactions require physical contact with both manufacturers and suppliers as well as the actual product itself. Which is why, for the past three years, GEMKonnect has been organising jewellery industry delegations to the major trade shows in Hong Kong, Bangkok and Las Vegas. All these delegations opened up new doors for participating delegates and word got around the jewellery production pipeline. The result was a mammoth 103-person delegation to the Hong Kong show this year. So successful was this year’s outing to Hong Kong that happy delegates are already asking for details of other planned delegations over the coming months.

Proud to share glimpses from the 21st edition of the GeMKonnect Indian Jewellers Delegation visiting the prestigious Hong Kong International Jewellery Show 2026.

Since its formation in 2014, GeMKonnect International has been dedicated to connecting Indian jewellers with global opportunities. Over the years, we have successfully organized Indian jewellers’ delegations to some of the world’s most influential jewellery trade exhibitions, including JCK Las Vegas, Hong Kong International Jewellery Show, Vicenzaoro in Italy, Istanbul Jewelry Show, Bangkok Gems & Jewelry Fair, and many more.

These delegations provide Indian jewellers with valuable exposure to global design trends, international sourcing opportunities, new technologies, and meaningful business connections.

The 20th milestone delegation reflects our continued commitment to strengthening the global outlook of the Indian jewellery industry.
