अंबोली झरना भारत में दक्षिण महाराष्ट्र के अंबोली हिल स्टेशन में स्थित है। भारत के पश्चिमी भाग की सह्याद्रि पहाड़ियों में स्थित, अंबोली समुद्र तल से 690 मीटर की ऊंचाई पर स्थित है, और इसे दुनिया के इको स्पॉट में से एक माना जाता है, क्योंकि यह वनस्पतियों और जीवों की असामान्य प्रजातियों का घर है। अंबोली झरना सबसे प्रसिद्ध पर्यटक आकर्षणों में से एक है, जो अंबोली में पाया जा सकता है, और पूरे वर्ष कई पर्यटकों द्वारा इसका दौरा किया जाता है।

झरने का दौरा करने का सबसे अच्छा समय मानसून के मौसम के दौरान जून से सितंबर तक होता है, जब पानी का प्रवाह अपने चरम पर होता है, जिससे एक राजसी, शानदार दृश्य बनता है।

लम्बे इंतज़ार के बाद 11-06-2024 सुबह 5 बजे केलांग से लेह के लिए पहली बस रवाना हो गई । दिल्ली कश्मीरी गेट से ये बस कल यानी 12 जून से दोपहर 12:15 बजे शुरू होगी और प्रतिदिन चला करेगी । इस बार इस बस का रूट कीरतपुर फ़ॉरलेन से सीधे भगेड़ होकर है, जिससे इसकी दूरी 1026 कि.मी. से घटकर 980 कि.मी. रह गई है । यात्रा का समय भी अब 35 घण्टो से घटकर 32 घण्टे रह गया है । रूट में सबसे बड़ा बदलाव यह है कि अब बस का केलांग में रात्रि ठहराव नहीं होगा और 30 मिनट केलांग में रुक कर बस आगे लेह के लिए निकल जाएगी ।
दिल्ली से लेह का बस किराया क़रीब 1650₹ है और केलांग से लेह 668₹ । बस की ऑनलाइन बुकिंग अभी शुरू नहीं हुई है ।

नई समय सारिणी के अनुसार:
दिल्ली से प्रस्थान- दोपहर 12:15 बजे
चण्डीगढ़-43 से प्रस्थान- शाम 6:10 बजे
मनाली होते हुए केलांग आगमन- अगली सुबह 5:00 बजे
केलांग से प्रस्थान- सुबह 5:30 बजे
लेह आगमन- रात 8:00 बजे

केदारनाथ व बाकी चार धाम यात्रा के लिये जरूरी बात
1. यात्रा अपने पैरों से ही करे , 60साल से अधिक है तभी घोड़े या पालकी या हेलीकॉप्टर का उपयोग करे
2. -10℃ तक का स्लीपिंग बैग लेकर जरूर चले , कोई रजाई अधिक ठंड मे आपको उतना नही बचा पायेगी,जितना सिलिपिंग बेग बचाएगा
3. पहाड़ो का हर झरना ड्रिंकिंग वाटर होता है , उसी को पीये शरीर भी स्वस्थ रहेगा जेब भी , रास्ते मे जगह जगह झरने है
3. कैंपिंग टेंट जरूर लेके जाये , 2kg भी वजन नही होता 2000 तक आ जाता है , कमरा ना मिलने की स्थिति मे उसे लगा सकते हो पूरी ब्यवस्था है धाम है , वाशरूम सबके लिए उपलब्ध है ,
4. खाने के रेट का रोना रोने से बढ़िया है , जगह जगह भंडारा चलता है , एक टाइम वहां खाइये , दर्शन को गए है घूमने को नही , खाली पेट प्रभु जल्दी मिलते है
5.पोलेथिन वाले रेन कोट लेकर चले वजन मे हल्के ओर गर्मी भी नही लगेगी, शूज़ सेफ्टी वाले ज्यादा बढ़िया है , आपके बाटा वाटा का पूरा आटा निकल जायेगा , सेफ्टी शूज़ ज्यादा अच्छा रहता है
6. बेग मे दो ट्रॉन्च लेकर जरूर चले , लाइट जाने पे सबसे ज्यादा काम आएगी , फ़ोन के भरोशे ना रहे ,
7.जैकेट लेकर जाना अनिवार्य है , चाहे जून मे जाओ ,
8. किसी भी मदत के लिए , पंडा समाज के किसी ब्यक्ति को ही पूछे या किसी पुलिस वाले को , वही आपको सही सलाह देंगे , सब वहाँ मदत के भाव से ही होते है
9. 50g नमक साथ लेकर चले , ज्यादा बरसात मे पाऊँ मे जोंक चिपकती है , जो सिर्फ नमक डालने से ही पैर छोड़ती है , जूते मे भी लगती है
10.ज्यादा होच पोच वाली जगह से थोड़ा हट कर कमरा लेंगे तो सही रहेगा
11. यात्रा सुबह जल्दी करे , दिन के बाद मौसम कभी भी बिगड़ सकता है
12. ये सब फॉलो करेंगे तो कोई दिकत नही आएगी !

The Badrinath temple
According to legend, Adi Shankaracharya discovered a black stone image of Lord Badrinarayan made of Shaligram stone in the Alaknanda River. He originally enshrined it in a cave near the Tapt Kund hot springs. In the sixteenth century, the King of Garhwal moved the murti to the present temple. The temple is approximately 50 ft (15 m) tall with a small cupola on top, covered with a gold gilt roof. The facade is built of stone, with arched windows. A broad stairway leads up to a tall arched gateway, which is the main entrance. The architecture resembles a Buddhist vihara (temple), with the brightly painted facade also more typical of Buddhist temples. Just inside is the mandapa, a large pillared hall that leads to the garbha grha, or main shrine area. The walls and pillars of the mandapa are covered with intricate carving.

Dhari Devi a Hindu temple located on the banks of the Alaknanda River between Srinagar and Rudraprayag in the Garhwal Region of Uttarakhand, India. The temple is home to the upper half of the idol of the goddess Dhari, while the lower half of the idol is located in Kalimath, where she is worshipped as a manifestation of the Goddess Kali.

She is considered to be the guardian deity of Uttarakhand and is revered as the protector of the Char Dham’s. Her shrine is one of 108 Shakti Sthals in India, as numbered by Srimad Devi Bhagwat.

"On June 16, 2013" the original temple of the goddess was removed and shifted to the concrete platform at a height of about 611 metres from the Alaknanda river, to give way to the construction of the 330 MW Alaknanda Hydro Electric Dam built by Alaknanda Hydro Power Company Ltd (AHPCL), a subsidiary of infrastructure major.

Incidentally, Hours after the idol was moved, the region faced what would become one of the country’s worst natural disasters since the 2004 tsunami. The 2013 North India floods were caused by a multi-day cloudburst resulting in devastating floods and landslides washing away the entire shrine town and killing hundreds of people. Locals and devotees believe, Uttarakhand had to face the Goddess’ ire as she was shifted from her ‘mool sthan’ (original abode) to make way for a 330 MW hydel project that was left in ruins after the flood. A similar attempt in 1882 by a local king had resulted in a landslide that had flattened Kedarnath.

Surkanda Devi is a Hindu temple near Kanatal, Uttarakhand, India. It is at an altitude of about 2756 metres lies close to nearby hill stations of Dhanaulti (8 kilometres [5.0 mi]) and Chamba (22 kilometres [14 mi]) walking distance of approx 3 kilometres [1.9 mi] from Kaddukhal, the place where vehicles are parked.

It is surrounded by dense forests and affords a scenic view of the surrounding region including the Himalayas to the north, and certain cities to the south (e.g., Dehradun, Rishikesh) The Ganga Dusshera festival is celebrated every year between May and June and attracts a lot of people. This is a temple which is situated among the trees of rounslii. It is covered with fog most of the time of the year.

The Char Dham Yatra is a pilgrimage to four holy Hindu shrines located in the Indian state of Uttarakhand: Yamunotri, Gangotri, Kedarnath, and Badrinath. The following is a sample itinerary for a 10-day Char Dham Yatra:

Day 1: Arrival in Dehradun

Upon your arrival in Dehradun, you will be met by a tour representative who will es**rt you to your hotel. You can spend the rest of the day exploring the local area or relaxing in your hotel.

Day 2: Dehradun to Yamunotri

After breakfast, drive to Yamunotri, the first of the Char Dham shrines. You can take a dip in the hot water springs at Yamunotri and visit the Yamunotri temple, dedicated to Goddess Yamuna. Overnight stay at a hotel in Yamunotri.

Day 3: Yamunotri to Gangotri

After breakfast, drive to Gangotri, the second of the Char Dham shrines. Here, you can visit the Gangotri temple, dedicated to Goddess Ganga. Overnight stay at a hotel in Gangotri.

Day 4: Gangotri to Guptakashi

After breakfast, drive to Guptakashi, the starting point for the Kedarnath trek. Overnight stay at a hotel in Guptakashi.

Day 5: Guptakashi to Kedarnath

After an early breakfast, drive to Gaurikund and then start your trek to Kedarnath, the third of the Char Dham shrines. You can visit the Kedarnath temple, dedicated to Lord Shiva. Overnight stay at a hotel in Kedarnath.

Day 6: Kedarnath to Guptakashi

After breakfast, trek down to Gaurikund and then drive back to Guptakashi. Overnight stay at a hotel in Guptakashi.

Day 7: Guptakashi to Badrinath

After breakfast, drive to Badrinath, the final of the Char Dham shrines. You can visit the Badrinath temple, dedicated to Lord Vishnu, and take a dip in the Tapt Kund hot water springs. Overnight stay at a hotel in Badrinath.

Day 8: Badrinath to Rudraprayag

After breakfast, drive to Rudraprayag and en-route visit Joshimath and Narsingh temple. Overnight stay at a hotel in Rudraprayag.

Day 9: Rudraprayag to Haridwar

After breakfast, drive to Haridwar, the gateway to the Char Dham Yatra. In the evening, attend the Ganga Aarti at Har Ki Pauri. Overnight stay at a hotel in Haridwar.

Day 10: Departure from Haridwar

After breakfast, check out of your hotel and proceed to the airport or railway station for your onward journey.
