Hello to everyone. May the dodo watch over you.

We decided to speed up understanding of the game by inserting symbols within it.

Symbols not only make the game more understandable, but they also reduce the game's reliance on language.

Many symbols have been created by us:

Experience, attack, defense, and damage. To better associate the counters with the various effects, we created symbols for each type of negative condition.

What do you think about this example?

Abbiamo deciso di aumentare la velocità di comprensione del gioco inserendo all'interno di esso simboli.

I simboli non renderanno solo il gioco più comprensibile ne riducono anche la dipendenza dalla lingua.

Abbiamo creato simboli per molte cose:

Esperienza, attacco, difesa, danni. Abbiamo creato simboli per ogni tipo di condizione negativa per poter associare meglio i segnalini ai vari effetti.

We at Dodo Corporation took a break from work as well, but it is now time to get back to work on our project!

We'd like to introduce you to a new form of minions.

These monsters will no longer be on the board, but they will have their own cards with a more aggressive illustration and improved standees!

Good day to everyone!

As mentioned in previous posts, we are continuing to work to reduce The Pit's production costs.

Today we wanted to show you the new pit that will take the place of the old one!

The new pit is entirely made of cardboard and will allow us to save a significant amount of money, making The Pit more affordable.

The miniature version of the pit will still be available as a separate package for those who want it.

What are your thoughts on this new pit? Even though it is only a prototype, we like it a lot!

Come anticipato nei post precedenti, continuiamo a lavorare per abbattere i costi di produzione di The Pit.

Oggi volevamo farvi vedere la nuova fossa che andrà a sostituire la precedente!

La nuova fossa è interamente fatta di cartoncino e ci permetterà di salvare un sacco di soldi, di conseguenza rendendo The Pit più accessibile a livello di prezzo.

La versione miniatura della fossa sarà comunque disponibile per chi la volesse avere con un pacchetto a parte.

Cosa ne pensate di questa nuova fossa? A noi piace parecchio anche se è solo un prototipo!

Good day to everyone!

in the last few weeks, following the disappointin failure of the Kickstarter, we have been hard at work to reduce the game's development costs.

We will remove the game board and insert the missing information on the player sheets and their field tiles.

We're working on making the game more accessible and intuitive and making it also blindfriendly.

There are also many other updates that we will share with you later.

E' da un pò che non diamo nostre notizie, questo perchè nelle ultime settimane dopo il triste esito del Kickstarter ci siamo messi all'opera per ridurre i costi di realizzazione del gioco.

Una delle novità sarà l'eliminazione del board, le info di gioco saranno raggruppate sulle schede giocatore e sui quadranti.

Stiamo inoltre lavorando sull'accessibilità del gioco rendendolo blindfriendly e il più intuibile possibile.

Inoltre ci sono molte altre novità ma che condivideremo con voi in seguito.

Nel frattempo, noi di Dodo Corporation vogliamo augurarvi una felice estate!

Hello all!

We regret to inform you that we have had to cancel The Pit's Kickstarter campaign due to a failure to meet the minimum funding requirements in the first few days. Unfortunately, as many of you are conscious, if a target is not met during the first 48 hours, Kickstarter will not fund the project, and we will be forced to shut down it.

What are we doing now? Simply put, we've decided to focus on game development, following the various feedback gathered during these beta months, lowering costs and implementing the game's final refinements.

We expect to complete this operation by the end of September, after which we will resume our tour of gamecom/gamerooms to show you all a redesigned version of The Pit and collect new player feedback.

We'd like to thank everyone who has contributed to Kickstarter, demonstrating their support and for the help received from everyone in these days.

Salve a tutti!

Ci dispiace comunicarvi che abbiamo dovuto fermare il Kickstarter di The Pit poiché non abbiamo raggiunto i numeri minimi durante i primi giorni. Purtroppo, come molti di voi sapranno, se non si raggiunge un obbiettivo preciso durante le prime 48h il Kickstarter non ingrana quindi ci siamo visti costretti a fermare il progetto.

Cosa facciamo adesso? Semplicissimo, abbiamo deciso di concentrarci sullo sviluppo del gioco, seguendo i vari feedback raccolti in questi mesi di fiere, abbassando i costi e attuando le ultime rifiniture che necessita il gioco.

Prevediamo di completare questa operazione entro settembre dopodiché riprenderemo con il tour di fiere/ludoteche per far provare a voi tutti una versione rinnovata di The Pit, per raccogliere nuovi pareri sul gioco.

Volevamo ringraziare tantissimo tutte quelle persone che comunque hanno contribuito al Kickstarter, mostrandoci il loro supporto e per il sostegno arrivato da tutti in questi giorni.
Nel frattempo, godetevi l’estate!
