In the spring of 1979 an energetic 40 year old secondary school teacher decided to help a friend in need. He assisted him in the artisan production of master alloys for the gold jewellery industry as well as providing support for sales and analysis of market requirements. This pioneering business idea coincided with a time of unprecedented growth in the Vicenza gold district. It was the charitable and gracious spirit that set this success story in motion, characterised by genuine values and authentic principles. Gianni Poliero, who was the teacher at that time, is now the Chairman of Legor Group, a multinational company based in Vicenza specializing in metallurgy. Initially, Gianni’s wife, Teresa, and then their seven children were carried along by Gianni’s entrepreneurial flair. All they played a significant role in the running of the company, but it was his second son Massimo who had a real passion for research and technology. Since 1992, after studying metallurgy and gaining years of technical experience in goldware production, Massimo became head of the family firm, creating the important and advanced Research and Development laboratory and introducing a managerial approach with an international outlook.

🏀 Un nuovo spazio per crescere, insieme.
Lo scorso sabato 17 ottobre abbiamo partecipato all'inaugurazione della rinnovata palestra comunale di Poianella, parte del comune di Bressanvido, alla presenza di tanti giovani, famiglie e associazioni sportive locali.
Un progetto che Legor è orgogliosa di aver sostenuto, contribuendo a restituire alla comunità uno spazio più sicuro, funzionale e accogliente, grazie al rinnovo della pavimentazione del campo da gioco.
Un impegno che si inserisce nel nostro percorso di responsabilità sociale, perché crediamo nel valore dello sport come occasione di crescita, inclusione e condivisione.
All'inaugurazione era presente Carmen Poliero, Executive Director, in rappresentanza di Legor. Un ringraziamento al Sindaco Luca Franzè e all'Amministrazione comunale per aver promosso e portato avanti questo importante progetto per il territorio.

The same care we put into tracing our metals, we put into choosing how to fund a climate project.
Since February we have been funding a share of Koalisation's project in Zambia's Copperbelt province: 400 households, improved cookstoves, water access, fruit trees and agroforestry training. The stoves have been delivered.
We did not buy existing credits on the market. We funded the share of the project that will generate them, with continuous field monitoring and checks on both households and installations. The credits are expected in 2027, once the registry issues them.

La stessa attenzione che mettiamo nella tracciabilità dei nostri metalli, l'abbiamo messa nella scelta di come finanziare un progetto climatico.
Da quest’anno sosteniamo una quota del progetto di Koalisation nella provincia di Copperbelt, in Zambia: 400 famiglie, stufe efficienti, accesso idrico, alberi da frutto e formazione in agroforestry. Le stufe sono state consegnate.
Non abbiamo comprato crediti già esistenti sul mercato. Abbiamo finanziato direttamente la quota di progetto che li genererà, con monitoraggio continuo sul campo e verifica sui nuclei e sulle installazioni. I crediti arriveranno nel 2027, quando il registro li rilascerà.

Oggi prende il via la prima edizione di BEX – Beyond Exploration Expo, dove innovazione, industria e nuove tecnologie si incontrano per esplorare le frontiere di domani.
Legor porta a Rimini il proprio 3D Metal Hub e il know-how nella scienza dei metalli, mostrando come l’additive manufacturing possa aprire nuove possibilità progettuali e applicative, anche oltre i confini tradizionali della gioielleria.

Prendersi cura delle persone significa anche contribuire al loro benessere quotidiano.
Da questa settimana, grazie alla collaborazione con l'Azienda Agricola Pallaro Chiara, ogni lunedì una selezione di prodotti freschi, genuini e di stagione arriverà direttamente nel nostro Headquarters.
L'iniziativa del Furgoncino del Benessere valorizza la filiera corta e il territorio, promuovendo scelte più consapevoli e sostenibili. Un piccolo gesto che racconta il nostro modo di intendere il benessere: trasformare i valori in azioni concrete.
