World Rowing Cup I 2026 — Seville, Spain (29–31 May) 🇪🇸
Hot conditions, a big return to Seville — and a huge weekend for the Filippi fleet.

From the very first strokes: 28 wins in 38 heats on Day 1, with the international fleet 62% Filippi-built.
By the end of Day 2: 46 Filippi boats qualified for the A Finals, including all-Filippi start lines in M2x and W2-.

Final tally: 32 medals out of 49 (65%) 💥

The first-ever world-level victory of the Australian Women’s Eight in a Filippi Performance F42 is already part of rowing history. Congratulations to Samy Morton (who won the 2025 Boat Race with Cambridge in the same boat) and her teammates, who finished ahead of the reigning Dutch World Champions and the Romanian Olympic Champions.
Australia’s triumph was one of the eight gold medals won by Filippi boats in Seville🇪🇸 at the opening World Cup regatta. The tally was boosted by victories🥇from Lauren Henry 🇬🇧 (W1x), New Zealand (M2-), Czech Republic 🇨🇿 (W2-), Romania 🇷🇴 (W2x), Netherlands 🇳🇱 (M2x and W4-), and Portugal 🇵🇹 (LM1x).
The final total of 30 medals was completed by 12 silver 🥈medals and 10 bronze🥉medals.
Now the bow turns toward Plovdiv, where the second World Cup round will take place in less than two weeks.❤️

46 Filippiboats secured a place today in the “A” Final in Seville🇪🇸 at the end of day 2 of 1st leg of World Cup. Tomorrow both in M2x and W2- only Filippi at the start🏁.

On the opening day of the World Cup Rowing in Seville, Filippi boats claimed victory in 28 of the 38 heats raced today!
The international fleet, entirely built at our Donoratico shipyards, represents 62% of all boats competing at the event.

25 medals out of 42. 59% of the podiums. 💥
At the 2026 European Rowing Under 19 Championships in Brandenburg, Filippi boats once again proved their place at the top of international youth rowing, winning:

🥇8 gold medals
🥈9 silver medals
🥉8 bronze medals

A strong result from the first medal event of the season, with Donoratico-built boats supporting the next generation of rowing talent across Europe.

23 medals (8 gold🥇, 8 silver🥈 and 7 bronze🥉) at the U19 European Championships in Brandenburg,(Germany🇩🇪)with the most prestigious ones won by Italy (4), Romania (2) and AIN (2).
But Filippi boats also reached the podium with Austria🇦🇹 (2), Serbia🇷🇸, Greece🇬🇷 (2), Slovenia🇸🇮 and France🇫🇷.

First regatta of the season with medals on the line 🏅
At today’s heats of the Under 19 European Championships in Brandenburg, 67% of the boats racing were built by us, and 47 out of 78 qualified for the A Finals.
Tomorrow, in both the men’s and women’s coxless pair finals, every boat on the water will be built in Donoratico. 🚣

The first of the Rowsellas (Australian Rowing Team) are wheels-up to Europe this week, and waiting for them on the water in Seville is their exception European fleet, including this stunning brand new coxless four in Performance configuration with carbon front wings.

“This F40 is one of the most beautiful boats ever to come out of our workshops,” says Filippi CEO David Filippi - and Rowing Australia firmly agree.

The international season starts at World Rowing Cup I in Seville, and we couldn’t ask for a better way to open it. Filippi and Rowing Australia will be racing all the way through LA28, with an option to continue to Brisbane 2032. 💚💛
