the ghosties are back. 👻

last year they came and went in a flash — this time they're made to order so no pressure! little gold ghosts with sparkly eyes and tiny heart cut-out, available in yellow, white or rose gold with blue sapphire, pink sapphire or diamond.

They're funny and have hearts for mouths, technically not spooky I know. 🤍

back, rested, and already covered in bench dust.
a week back in Florence and it looks like this — new wax prints for customs and spacers, a scalloped pastry that I absolutely needed to photograph (& eat), catching up on orders, a new microtorch that Vincenzo is very excited about, and Piazza Santa Croce just being Piazza Santa Croce.

a handful of little clouds, almost there.
these are cirrus halo charm holders waiting for their final polish. the hard part is already done — fitting each one, getting the hinge to sit just right, making sure the click is perfect. every single one by hand. the polish is almost a reward after all of that.
a small heads up for anyone thinking about one — the casting studio closes for most of August, as they do every summer here in Italy. the cirrus aren't going anywhere, but if you order during that window there may be a small delay. I'll be ordering extra castings ahead of time to try and get on top of it 🤍

some mornings the light comes in at a certain angle and everything feels a little more alive.

I made these for that feeling. orange sapphire, diamond, rose cut blue sapphire — each stone chosen for the way it moves in the light. they swing when you walk. they catch the sun when you turn your head. tiny, quiet, joyful.
