Volterra, a most beautiful Italian hill town, our second visit and still most loved!

Tod’s visit to Volterra was nothing short of enchanting. Nestled in the heart of Tuscany, this ancient town is a treasure trove of history and culture. As Tod wandered through the narrow, winding streets, he was captivated by the medieval architecture and the remnants of Etruscan walls that whispered tales of bygone eras. The majestic Piazza dei Priori, with its imposing palazzo, offered a glimpse into the town’s rich past. Tod also marveled at the alabaster craftsmanship, a tradition that has been synonymous with Volterra for centuries. As he stood atop the hill, gazing at the rolling Tuscan landscape bathed in golden sunlight, Tod felt a profound connection to the timeless beauty and charm of Volterra.
