Rubeus – Calicanto

Wearing Calicanto by Rubeus today, a beautiful floral from the Giardini di Venezia collection. The perfumer behind it is Yann Vasnier, and his signature elegant style really shows here.
Calicanto opens bright and airy with a soft citrus sparkle and a touch of pink pepper. Very quickly it moves into a delicate floral heart—peony and orange blossom—with a smooth, slightly creamy feel. As it settles, the base becomes clean and comforting with gentle musk and patchouli that keep the fragrance refined and balanced.
To me it smells like the moment when winter fades and early spring flowers start to appear—fresh, luminous, and quietly elegant.
A lovely niche floral that feels sophisticated but still easy to wear.
