Breguet dream team 🤎

These two stunning Patek Philippe timepieces with Breguet numerals show how beautifully gold and stainless steel can express Breguet aesthetics.

First, a beautiful Patek Philippe Ref. 130 Monopusher Chronograph in yellow gold, produced in only a handful of examples during the early 1940s. Crafted in 18k yellow gold, this exceptional timepiece features an elegant Calatrava-style round case with a snap-on back and a distinctive square chronograph pusher.

Second, a rare stainless steel Patek Philippe Ref. 96, the very first Calatrava model ever produced by the maison. Featuring a refined round case of modest proportions with a snap-on back, crown and flat bezel, this example remains in very good condition. Its exceptional argenté (silvered) dial is adorned with steel Breguet-style Arabic numerals, radium dot hour markers, and pencil-shaped steel hands with radium filling.

When heritage speaks, it does so quietly.

Which would you choose, yellow gold or stainless steel?

Gli “ovetti” di Pasqua 🤎 (The Easter “little eggs”)

“Ovetti” is the Italian nickname collectors give to Rolex Bubblebacks, literally “little eggs”, a nod to their rounded caseback. A playful Easter reference and a tribute to one of the most charming vintage Rolex designs.

The twelve pieces shown here come directly from private collection. Over the years, he has hunted down some truly remarkable Rolex Bubblebacks, carefully curating an outstanding array of these crowned timepieces.

Bubblebacks are among Rolex’s most iconic models, produced from the 1930s to the 1950s. Their remarkable yet understated design makes them highly desirable, proving that wearing a Rolex is about far more than just showing the crown.

We’re excited to share Mr. Bernardini’s exceptional “ovetti” collection with our followers.
