Meet Ruta Malik, a Lithuanian textile artist based in London, whose practice combines hand embroidery, mixed media, texture, and intricate craftsmanship.

Her brooch A Mast explores the beauty of contrast—soft, fragile threads held within a solid metal structure, while diamonds emerge from dark embroidery with striking presence.

Every element is carefully considered, creating a dialogue between delicacy and strength, softness and structure, and tradition and contemporary artistry.
