An authentic Roman bronze coin from the 1st century AD, depicting Emperor Augustus, has been beautifully set in this handcrafted sterling silver pendant by our skilled goldsmiths.

On the reverse we can see the famous inscription “SC” (Senatus Consulto), symbolizing the authority of the Roman Senate and the enduring power of Roman institutions.

Born Gaius Octavius, Augustus became the first Roman emperor, ruling from 27 BC until AD 14. As the founder of the Roman Principate, he transformed the Roman Republic into the Roman Empire and laid the foundations for one of the greatest civilizations in history.

Under Augustus’ reign, Rome entered a long period of stability and prosperity known as the Pax Romana ✨ — an era marked by peace, economic growth, and cultural flourishing throughout the empire.

𝗦𝗧𝗘𝗥𝗟𝗜𝗡𝗚 𝗦𝗜𝗟𝗩𝗘𝗥 Vertumnus — the Roman god of seasons, transformation, and abundance . Inspired by the famous painting by the sixteen century painter Arcimboldo, the onyx pendant was hand-painted by the artist Tommaso Rossi.

Using enamels, titanium acrylics and graphite, Tommaso Rossi creates astonishing miniature portraits inspired by Ancient Rome and mythology. To achieve such extraordinary precision, he often replaces the traditional brush with echidna quills and rose thorns, painting details almost invisible to the naked eye.
