Oggi è la Giornata Mondiale del TENNIS, inteso come sport.
Ma il nostro noto non è per nulla slegato da questo sport.
Come ben noto, il celebre bracciale a rivière di diamanti, fu ribattezzato “Tennis” nel 1987 per un episodio legato alla tennista americana Chris Evert , icona di stile e bellezza che non si separava mai, nemmeno sui campi di gara, dal suo “Tennis Bracelet”, tanto che, slacciatosi e perso sul campo durante una gara, non esitò a chiedere al giudice di sospendere il match per poterlo recuperare. Un aneddoto che è entrato a far parte a pieno titolo, proprio come il celeberrimo bracciale, nella storia della gioielleria.

L’intramontabile classico che regala luce e fascino a chi lo indossa è diventato l’oggetto del desiderio della gran parte delle donne. Le sue linee essenziali lo rendono estremamente versatile , tanto da conquistare sempre più anche l’interesse da parte del pubblico maschile.

Aurum ha deciso così di ampliare il proprio reparto produttivo, costituito da macchine a controllo numerico e da sofisticati software di progettazione, con un centro di lavoro dedicato alla produzione di Tennis.

Wedding Bands, 9Kt vs 18 Kt: why not?

The inexorable and long-lasting period of the gold fluctuation seems to be never-ending. The economists forecast that the precious metals will continue to rise. The customer who has to face a gold wedding band purchase, has to spend a lot compared with a purchase taken place few months before. For this reason, 9kt gold (375), previously snubbed, is every week more appreciated, consequently the demand for these is increasing.
9kt gold has a long tradition in the Anglo-saxon countries. where it is appreciated also for its resistance and thought to be perfect for creating jewels daily put on, as the wedding bands.
Aurum started to make jewels in 9kt almost 40 years ago, exporting a lot in UK from the beginning.
This long path, made by the research on the best alloys to be used, has let Aurum to get products with really good features, particularly about the yellow and rose gold ones, which aesthetically are 100% identical to the 18kt wedding bands.
In fact, the colour does not cover the jewel but it is the colour of the very alloy used to make the ring. This peculiarity is really important to understand the difference between jewels, even if the same is the metal title.
Recently we have been observing a huge increase of request in 9k also in the Italian/European market; as referred by our customers, the end user has started to realise that the product is not so different and, for its lower price, it is more reachable, and this is more appreciated by the young customers in particular.
