Amarna, Light and the Sun

At the heart of Amarna art lies the presence of the sun.
Not as a distant symbol, but as an active and formative force.
Light shapes volume, softens contours, and animates the surface of the body. Sculpture becomes responsive to radiance, to warmth, to the rhythm of daylight.

This relief shows two figures, one behind the other, leaning forward. They are both dressed in a sheer cropped tunic and a pleated loincloth top that falls to their ankles and a pair of sandals. It is a type of dress widely used during this period, ahead of the traditional male costume.
The fragmentary appearance of this relief prevents a clear reading of the action they are taking, but several hypotheses are possible. It can be a representation of a domestic scene (preparing for a banquet), or the performance of a ritual act during a procession.
It is interesting to note that during the Amarna period, domestic representations were rather found in temples while religious scenes were more present in tombs, unlike the conventions in force in Egyptian art until that time.

Inspired by Eos, the Greek goddess of the dawn.
A symbol of renewal, radiance and new beginnings.

Crafted in sandblasted 18kt yellow gold, the ring carries a soft and warm glow, reminiscent of the first light of sunrise. The matte texture allows the gold to hold light gently, creating a quiet luminosity.

At its centre rests an elongated step-cut diamond. Its refined lines and serene brilliance evoke the horizon at daybreak, where light gradually emerges with clarity and grace.
Set with white diamonds and created in 18kt gold, in close collaboration with the ateliers.

PERSEPHONE

Named after Persephone, the Greek goddess who moves between light and darkness. A symbol of transformation, renewal and quiet strength.

The earrings are set with vivid chrome tourmalines and deep green enamel, creating a rich interplay of light, depth and colour. Each stone reveals its own natural character, celebrating individuality and the refined beauty of imperfection.

TORSO OF APOLLOchenel

A Roman marble torso, dating from the 1st–2nd century AD, embodying the classical ideal of the human form. Strength, balance and timeless beauty.

Carved from marble, the sculpture reveals a refined musculature and a subtle contrapposto, a posture that gives life and movement to the body while preserving its calm dignity. Such works, often associated with Apollo or Dionysus, reflect the ancient fascination with the harmony between physical beauty and divine presence.

The human body, as celebrated in classical sculpture, remains a constant source of inspiration behind our work where form, balance and tension translate into the sculptural language of jewellery.

The bracelet rests within an environment of warm, tactile surfaces such as palm wood, natural fabrics, and leather. Each material carrying the subtle imprint of the hand. A composition that reflects our own approach to craft: deliberate, architectural, and deeply anchored in material integrity.

Inspired by the quiet strength of Hestia, the Greek goddess of the hearth. A symbol of inner balance, protection, and the unseen centre.

The ring is set with a 3ct old mine oval cut diamond, its facets carrying a warmth and depth. A stone shaped by time, where light is gathered rather than reflected.

Created in 18kt gold, in close collaboration with the ateliers.
