Over the past few weeks, the Sunset Yogurt newsletter has taken a different direction.
Alongside new work and updates from the atelier, I’ve started using it as a space to explore the research behind the objects: their cultural histories, the meanings they have accumulated, and the ways familiar things move between the body, everyday life and material culture.
The first three issues, Notes from the Atelier, Thingness and Teeth, are already out. They are the beginning of a series looking at some of the subjects that have become part of my practice, through anthropology, art history, folklore, religion, medicine and popular culture.
The next chapter is Bo***es, coming August 28th.

There is quite a lot more behind these little glass objects than meets the eye.
And it was time to start sharing some of it.
