It’s nearly time to wrap up for Christmas! My final order date for local deliveries is today and I’ll be closing the shop to enjoy some time off with the family.

I always find something grounding about wearing rings, the little pieces that move with your hands through the day.

I like to stack them in a way that feels collected, not perfect mixed textures, stones that don’t quite match, a little space between.

Some days I wear just one. Other days, I pile them on like armour. That’s the beauty of it, you make the rules!

STORY

Hi there, I’m Emily,

I make jewellery at my home studio in Jersey specialising in eco friendly silversmithing methods.

I’ve always loved being creative and have made jewellery since I was young. When I was first engaged my husband suggested I should design my perfect engagement ring. After nearly 18 months of seeking inspiration and perfection he suggested we should go to a jewellers to get it custom made. As soon as we walked in the door I was so inspired by watching the jewellers craft their bespoke designs at the bench. This ignited my imagination which led to my desire to learn silversmithing at local night classes, and then on to train at London Jewellery School in Hatton Garden for an intensive Diploma in creative jewellery design.

In times of constant change and soulless, dreary mass production, I feel very passionately about ensuring all of my jewellery is individual and ethical with no exploitation of workers and being eco friendly by reducing my carbon footprint with no unnecessary CO2 emissions from transport. All of my jewellery is handmade from recycled sterling silver and ethically sourced semi-precious gemstones. All pieces are inspired from my love of traveling, climbing mountains and the outdoors and have a fresh simplicity and refinement in design. The jewellery I create can be casual for everyday wear or elegant for more formal occasions. All pieces are lovingly hand wrapped in hand dyed linen bags or hand stamped recycled boxes and sent via recorded delivery.
