Lubna Safadi We bring quality, handmade, local produce to the international world of fashion. We wanted to come up with our own local brand, one that is made in Jordan.

Our statement pieces, such as scarves made from camel wool thread and tops inspired by traditional embroidery are favorites amongst the fashion conscious and human rights aware both locally and internationally. Something simple to start off with like scarves made from camel wool. Jordan would be a perfect place to initiate something that reflects the vast sunny deserts of the holy land and present

ing it to the world. We went to the market to research the origins of the camel wool thread and found out that it was from Najaf, a sacred city in the south of Iraq. This gives the thread its name, najafi. The texture of the original najafi wool is thick and beige in colour, just like the desert the camel lives in, but these days there are various color spectrums, and textures range from thick to soft. The next step put us in touch with women from our society who helped with the manufacturing of the scarves. Working from home, they supported their families by taking our designs and turning them into the finished product that is now available for sale. Inspired by Coco Channel, we wanted to give our product a name that is easy, memorable and reflective of its origins, hence Lulu Cammel. بما انه خلصت السنة واللي كانت سنة مليانة بكتير تغييرات بالنسبة الي وهلأ نحنا على بواب سنة جديدة حابة أعبر فيها عن شعوري، شعوري بالامتنان، الحمدلله على كل يوم جديد بصحى فيه وبعيشه وبيكون حلو وعلى كل فرصة جديدة لأحاول أكون أحسن أو أعمل اشي منيح أو أعيش تجربة جديدة
