Aethalia is more than a name.
It recalls an ancient name of Elba and the legendary ferry that connected the island with the mainland in the 1950s — a symbol of travel, progress and a new beginning for the island.
LOCMAN turns that story into a watch: contemporary lines, precious materials and, in the OISA 1937 version, a Made in Italy hand-wound mechanical movement.
A piece of Elba, shaped for the present.

Aethalia è più di un nome.
Richiama l’antico nome dell’Isola d’Elba e il leggendario traghetto che negli anni Cinquanta collegava l’isola al continente: simbolo di viaggio, progresso e di una nuova apertura verso il mondo.
LOCMAN trasforma questa storia in un orologio: linee contemporanee, materiali preziosi e, nella versione OISA 1937, un movimento meccanico a carica manuale Made in Italy.
Un frammento di Elba, progettato per il presente.

From the meeting between Sandro Fratini, one of the world’s most important watch collectors, and Marco Mantovani, President of LOCMAN, were born Decimo Canto and Ventiquattresimo Canto, two collections inspired by Dante Alighieri’s Divine Comedy.
It is precisely among the verses of Dante’s masterpiece, deeply rooted in 14th-century Florence, that references to mechanical clocks appear for the first time in history, as such mechanisms were already present in Tuscany at the time.
The Decimo Canto case houses a hand-wound mechanical movement Made in Italy

Dall’incontro tra Sandro Fratini, tra i più importanti collezionisti di orologi al mondo, e Marco Mantovani, Presidente di LOCMAN, (entrambi soci Locman) nascono Decimo Canto e Ventiquattresimo Canto, due collezioni ispirate alla Divina Commedia di Dante Alighieri. È proprio tra i versi del poema dantesco, profondamente legato alla Firenze del Trecento, che affiorano per la prima volta nella Storia dei riferimenti agli orologi meccanici, già presenti in Toscana a quei tempi. La cassa di Decimo Canto ospita un movimento meccanico manuale Made in Italy.

The Stealth Lady Titanium captures attention with the extraordinary brilliance of its 124 diamonds, framing the dial and enhancing its wave-pattern design. Stealth Lady Titanio cattura lo sguardo grazie alla straordinaria luminosità dei suoi 124 diamanti, che incorniciano il quadrante esaltandone il disegno a onde. Un dettaglio distintivo che richiama il legame profondo di LOCMAN con il mare, elemento identitario e fonte d’ispirazione costante. Il vetro zaffiro, trasparente come il cristallo e duro quasi quanto il diamante, protegge il quadrante, mentre il bracciale in titanio, perfettamente integrato nella cassa, avvolge il polso come un gioiello.
