Futaba / Sunshine Yellow

Every morning, the sun rises over the Pacific.

Sunshine Yellow was inspired by that first light—the warm glow that appears on the horizon and slowly brightens the sea and sky.

Futaba is a small coastal town in Fukushima, facing the Pacific Ocean. For us, this yellow is more than a bright color. It represents a new day, a new beginning, and the simple optimism of looking ahead.

The compact 34mm case and two-tone dial give the watch a classic feel, while the yellow brings an unexpected touch of energy to the wrist.

New leaves are a sign that something is beginning again.

New Leaves Green was inspired by that idea of renewal—and by the town of Futaba itself.

After the 2011 disaster, Futaba became a town with no residents. Today, people are returning, new activity is emerging, and the town is slowly beginning a new chapter.

This green was chosen to reflect that story: not simply the color of young leaves, but a symbol of new beginnings and a future taking shape.

At 34mm, the Futaba is compact and understated, with a two-tone dial and polished bracelet that give it a distinctive presence on the wrist.

mirco TYPE-02 is back.

It began in Switzerland in 2019.

mirco made its debut at Baselworld 2019 as an independent Japanese watch brand—and the watch we introduced to the world was the TYPE-02.

The model received attention from watch enthusiasts and international watch media, including HODINKEE. It was also the beginning of the journey that would eventually lead us to establish Fukushima Watch Company.

Since then, we moved our base to Minamisoma, Fukushima, and TYPE-02 disappeared from our collection for several years.

But people kept asking us one question:

“Will the TYPE-02 ever come back?”

Now, we can finally say yes.

After a long wait, mirco TYPE-02 returns on September 4, 2026 (JST).

The collection returns in five dial colors, with two leather straps selected for each dial color, allowing you to enjoy two different expressions of the same watch.

Odaka / Seaweed Black

Black is timeless.
But every color in Odaka has a story.

Seaweed Black is inspired by Odaka, the small coastal town in Fukushima where we make our watches—a place where the sea, mountains, farmland, and everyday life exist quietly side by side.

The deep black dial gives the classic 36mm design a calm, understated character, making it easy to wear across different styles and occasions.

mirco TYPE-03 / Kurumizome

What color is Kurumizome?

Pink? Grey? Purple?
Perhaps none of them—and a little of all of them.

The dial and bezel disc of the TYPE-03 are inspired by traditional Japanese colors with roots in the Edo period.

Among them, Kurumizome is particularly difficult to describe in a single word. Its subtle, muted tone shifts with the light, revealing hints of pink, grey, and purple. In Japan, colors like this have long been familiar through traditional textiles such as kimono.

The case has a character of its own, too.
Neither a conventional round case nor a C-shaped case, its distinctive silhouette gives TYPE-03 the classic presence of a vintage-inspired diver.

Futaba was created while looking at the town of Futaba as it is today—
and imagining the beauty of its past, and the possibilities of its future.

At 34mm, the case may sound small on paper,
but on the wrist, it feels surprisingly balanced and present.

while the straight 18mm mirror-finished bracelet catches the light and gives the watch a refined brilliance.

mirco TYPE-02 — The Return

It all started at Baselworld 2019.

TYPE-02 was the debut model of mirco—and for us at Fukushima Watch Company, it remains a watch that represents where our journey began.

Over the years, we’ve received many messages asking us to bring TYPE-02 back.
We listened.

We’ve decided to revive it, and assembly is now underway for its return.

The five original dial colors will all be back.

To everyone who has been waiting for TYPE-02:
thank you for remembering this watch.

It’s coming back.
