bororo のジュエリーは、石の個性を見極める視点と、身につける形への探求心、そして、職人の手業から生まれています。
たとえば「Rock」シリーズは、
石と地金を一体のものとして身につける方法はないか、と探るなかで、詫間宝石彫刻との出会いにより完成しました。
彼らが探求を重ねてきた、「同摺り」という独自技法により、ミニマルでありながら精密なかたちを成り立たせています。
石と真摯に向き合う数々の職人たちとの巡り合いが、石にとっての自然なあり方を追求する、bororoのデザインを可能にしています。
Our artisans know all about handling stones.
bororo's jewelry is born from an eye for each stone's individuality, a search for wearable forms, and the handiwork of our artisans.
The Rock Series, for example, was perfected by collaboration with Takuma Studio during our search for a way to wear jewelry uniting stone and metal.
After a lot of research, Takuma Studio developed an original sculpting technique called dozuri.
We applied this technique to create forms that are both minimal and precise.
bororo's designs are made possible by encounters with artisans who work earnestly with stone and continuously pursue forms that are natural to the stone.
