「ロレアート ウィリアムズ エディション」が国内初入荷いたしました。

本作は、ロレアート 42mmをベースとしたモデル。

鮮やかなブルーの「クル・ド・パリ」ダイヤルは、Williamsの2026年F1マシン「FW48」から着想を得たカラーです。

ミニッツトラックとセンターセコンドには、FW48のレッドラインを彷彿とさせる赤のアクセントが取り入れられています。

さらに12時位置のミニッツトラックには、Williamsを表す小さな「W」。

コラボレーションを大きく主張するのではなく、ロレアートのデザインの中にさりげなく取り入れられているのも印象的です。

The Laureato Williams Edition has made its first arrival in Japan.

Based on the 42mm Laureato, this model features a vivid blue Clous de Paris dial inspired by the Williams FW48 Formula 1 car for the 2026 season.

Red accents on the minute track and central seconds hand evoke the red line of the FW48, while a discreet “W” at 12 o’clock subtly references Williams.

Beyond these design elements lies the partnership between Girard-Perregaux and Williams.

Watchmaking and Formula 1 may belong to different worlds, yet both share a respect for mechanical engineering and a dedication to refining every detail.

They also share an appreciation for the time, technical expertise and human craftsmanship behind the finished result.

なぜインデックスをなくしたのか？

日本の美意識のひとつ、「余白」。

余白は、見る人が想像したり、その世界観を感じたりするための大切な空間でもあります。

今回の1966では、ブラックオニキスそのものが持つ深い黒と艶をより美しく見せるため、文字盤からインデックスをなくしました。

何も置かないことで生まれた余白が、オニキスそのものの美しさを引き立てています。

そして40mmモデルでは、分針とセンターセコンド針の先端を、ひとつひとつ手作業でカーブ加工。

シンプルなデザインの中にも、細部まで丁寧な手仕事が込められています。

Why are there no hour markers?

“Empty space” is an important element of Japanese aesthetics, leaving room for imagination and interpretation.

For this 1966, the hour markers have been removed to highlight the deep black and lustrous beauty of the onyx itself.

On the 40mm model, the tips of the minute hand and central seconds hand are individually curved by hand, adding a subtle touch of craftsmanship to its minimalist design.
