SEIKO Ref.68-6010 Ultra-Thin Pocket Watch Cal.68A Silver 900
A rare piece from Seiko’s pursuit of ultra-thin mechanical watchmaking.
Produced around the 1970s, this unusual pocket watch is powered by the hand-wound Cal.68A, an exceptionally thin movement measuring just 1.98mm in thickness.
The elegant Silver 900 case, refined Roman numeral dial, and distinctive hanging design give this watch a character unlike almost anything else from Seiko.
I had previously seen this model only in the Seiko Museum collection.
This is the first example outside the museum that I have personally encountered and held in my hands.
To be honest, this is one of those watches I wouldn’t mind keeping.
But this is KYOTOYA.
So yes — it’s for sale.
