Thank you for joining us - it was a rare opportunity for me to speak in front of a large audience, and a truly great experience.

Thank you for being a wonderful companion, and for guiding us and helping us rediscover our thoughts.

Special thanks to the team for making this happen in such an inspiring space.

This Mushroom project began with spalted beech — wood already marked by fungal networks and slow transformation. The thinking came from the material itself.

It led me to reflect on time, trace, decay and regeneration — on how everything moves through phases.

Spalted beech introduced by John and Junko . Thank you both for opening my eyes to this world.

This year’s theme, Eastern Waves, presents art-jewellery by artists from South Korea, Japan and Taiwan, alongside art-textiles by a Tel Aviv-based artist immersed in Japanese culture.

What a treat it was to see this exhibition ! A fascinating journey through the history of brooches from 1200 BC to the present day. From Bronze Age copper-alloy fibulas with beautiful patination to the elegant creations of Lalique and French designers, and finally to modern masterpieces.

This exhibition marks for 160th anniversary, and I’m deeply honoured to have my own brooch included in such a wonderful display. Many thanks also to for making this possible!
