Over 1,000 years ago, was someone already standing on the summit of Mt. Tsurugi?
In 1907, a survey team reached the summit of Mt. Tsurugi, which was then believed to be unclimbed.
There, they discovered the head of a Buddhist staff and an iron sword, both believed to be more than 1,000 years old.
The Buddhist staff is closely associated with mountain ascetic practice.
For this mountain, we chose Hematite in Quartz — quartz containing hematite, an iron-bearing mineral.
Hematite has long been associated with strength, courage, and determination.
An ancient iron sword found on Mt. Tsurugi.
Hematite in Quartz, a stone containing iron.
This connection is why we chose this stone and carried it into the mountain.
May this stone embody the history and sacred power of Mt. Tsurugi.
For those who wish to face difficulties with strength, stay true to their wil
