A man who tosses worms in the river isn't 't necessarily a friend of the fish. All the fish who take him for a friend, who think the worm's got no hook in it, usually end up in the frying pan.
Now Ruto joined politics in 1992 through a political cm criminal gang called YK92.. According to the Akiwumi report the gang organized pre and post election violence in Kenya, the gang had two major objectives.
To effect mass transfers of Kikuyus, Luos and Luhya and any other community that was perceived to be anti nyayo or Kanu. They ochestrated systematic tribal attacks which they disguised as land clashes.
They transferred people from Kericho, Nakuru, Narok, Trans Nzoia, Uasin Ngishu, Laikipia by attacking other communities. Immediately after elections they would embark on punishing those who did not vote for Moi.
That is the reasons why there were clashes in the run up to the 1992 general elections, in Molo, in Kericho Borabu border, Enosupukia and Burnt Forest. Hundreds of Kikuyus and Luos and Bukusus were eveicted from their homes .
This happened again in 1997 and in 1998 where YK92 and Moi attacked armless people in Olmoran in Laikipia and Njoro in Nakuru. This was before and after elections... 2007/2008 was just a climax of what had been happening.
At one time Moi and YK92 used NYS lorries and collected internally displaced people from Nakuru and dumped them in Kirigiti Kiambu County..This is akin what Mandago Jackson did to Lubya children in Eldoret and by collecting them in county lorries and dumping them in Busia county..
Now let as be very generous and kind you William Ruto and assume that he had nothing to do with the pre and post election violence.. Let us assumes that he is just ah honest man hated for having gone to school without shoes .
I would like those who claim that Ruto loves the people of Mt Kenya and not their votes to take a screen shot of him condemning post election violence the way he condemns those who uprooted the raiway..
Offences are either in commission or omission. While we commend Ruto for condemning those who uprooted the railway we would want to know his opinion on those who at the same time burnt people in a church .
