Kipato is a Kenyan design-led brand that holds elevated African artistry, feminist values, and refined craftsmanship as central to its approach. *Kipato Unbranded* is a social enterprise that collaborates with local artists to promote their talents, skills, and gives them access to markets.

*Kipato Unbranded* is about beauty and unique designs. Our jewellery is made f

rom local materials that include brass, recycled bone, and beads. Kipato in Kiswahili means profit or income. What is unique about Kipato Unbranded is that 50% of our profit goes to the artists themselves. Our name specifically reflects the word unbranded. Because it is not for the brand itself but for the people who create it.
