Artisans Angkor - សិប្បករអង្គរ At Artisans Angkor, every creation honors Cambodia’s cultural legacy. Artisans Angkor offers a wide range of high quality products that can suit every taste.

Using the same techniques as master artisans from a thousand years ago, we craft timeless works of art—preserving Khmer heritage for generations to come. Artisans Angkor is a Cambodian social business which was originally created to revive Khmer cultural heritage while helping young rural people finding work near their home village. Since its creation at the end of 1990s, Artisans Angkor has striv

ed to provide professional skills to communities with limited educational opportunities and has offered good working conditions and social advantages to its employees. It has now opened 42 workshops in Siem Reap province and it provides employment to over 1300 people, including more than 900 artisans. Over the years, Artisans Angkor has become a real showcase of Khmer workmanship for its silk fabrics and garments, stone and wood carving, lacquer ware, polychrome products, silver plating and silk painting. Free guided tours (in many different languages) will take you through the workshops so you can enjoy our artisans’ techniques and skills and learn a lot about Khmer culture. Not only does the company revive traditional Khmer Arts and Crafts but it also offers a collection of hand-made clothing and home furnishings fitted to contemporary lifestyles.

Recently, we had the pleasure of welcoming a group of nearly 100 international travelers to the Artisans Silk Farm.

The visit took guests on a journey through Cambodia's complete silk-making process — from mulberry farming and silkworm rearing, to thread extraction and finally the art of weaving. It was a beautiful opportunity to showcase the patience, skill, and heritage behind every Khmer silk piece.

Enhanced with delicate layers of gold and copper leaf, this reinterpretation of the Bayon Temple military relief carries both presence and memory through its 120kg silhouette.

135cm wide × 75cm high, this is a piece shaped by patience, strength, and the timeless spirit of Khmer craftsmanship.

This morning, the Destination Éco-Talents (DET) Center at Artisans Angkor hosted a workshop by WWF-Cambodia, bringing together stakeholders from Kratie Province and members of the Siem Reap Tourism Alliance.

Discussions focused on how Mekong River communities can learn from Siem Reap’s tourism ecosystem to strengthen sustainable tourism, community engagement, and local economic opportunities.
