Engineering, in every form.

Timo Tomberg from the IWC product strategy team presents a full spectrum of Ingenieur innovation.

New 35mm models refine ergonomics and finishing, while ceramic, titanium, and gold executions push material expertise to new levels.

At the top, a flying tourbillon and a lightweight perpetual calendar highlight the collection’s technical depth. All built on Gérald Genta’s integrated design—reworked, refined, and rethought.

Ingenieur. Form und Technik.

German industrial designer Dieter Rams' landmark principles argue that good design balances form and function. This philosophy was embodied by Gérald Genta's Ingenieur SL in the 1970s. Now, two new Ingenieur models revisit Genta's bold and visionary design, integrating new high-performance materials and precision-engineered complications.

The Ingenieur Tourbillon 41 (Ref. IW345901), crafted in 18-carat 5N gold, features a state-of-the-art flying minute tourbillon, one of the most complex mechanisms in fine watchmaking. Positioned at 6 o’clock, the complication is suspended from gold-coated bridges, a display of mechanical precision.

The dark olive green Ingenieur Automatic 42 (Ref. IW338902) is the first Ingenieur to be presented entirely in colored ceramic, underscoring IWC's expertise in this highly engineered material. Golden accents including the crown and bezel screws offer striking contrast, enhancing the bold aesthetics.

Ingenieur. Form und Technik.

Introducing the new Ingenieur Perpetual Calendar 41 (Ref. IW344904) in grade 5 titanium at Watches and Wonders Geneva. Drawing on more than four decades of expertise in machining and finishing this low-weight, high-strength metal, IWC engineers deliver the lightest-ever perpetual calendar watch in the IWC collection.

The Ingenieur Perpetual Calendar 41 blends this signature case material with our most emblematic complication: the crown-controlled perpetual calendar from Kurt Klaus. Every detail has been perfected, from the Gérald Genta-derived integrated bracelet design that showcases a combination of sandblasting, polishing, and satin-finishing, to the matte grey dial boasting the characteristic "Grid" structure. The subdials displaying the calendar information are treated with a circular satin finish, adding visual depth.

The Engineers Society presents:
"Schrödinger's Watch"
What if a watch could exist in two states at once?

Inside a sealed box, unseen, it is both: pure white and fully luminous. Only observation reveals the truth - and even that changes the outcome.

A simple experiment. A complex idea.

Every Component Tells a Story.

Antoine de Saint-Exupéry’s most famous character appears on the tinted sapphire glass case back of the Pilot's Watch Chronograph 41 Le Petit Prince.

Inside, the IWC-manufactured 69285 calibre is at work, while the deep blue sunray dial is reminiscent of the night sky.

Not your typical Pilot's Watch.

In his keynote, IWC CEO Christoph Grainger-Herr reveals what's behind the mechanism. A bezel, clutch, and movement working as one. Wind, adjust, switch time zones - everything controlled from the outside.

Complex mechanics, made intuitive.

Capturing the timeless spirit of Antoine de Saint-Exupéry’s most famous novel, the Pilot's Watch Chronograph 41 Le Petit Prince blends IWC engineering with a poetic touch.

A deep blue dial evokes the vastness of space, while the white case is an expression of our ceramics expertise. The watch is powered by the IWC-manufactured 69380 calibre, engineered with a focus on performance, reliability, and precision.
