Pretty in Pink 🌸

A little colour can make all the difference...

From the softest blush morganite to rich pink tourmaline and a bi-colour tourmaline - each with its own natural inclusions, variations and character.

Set in recycled sterling silver with just a tiny touch of gold, each pendant is completely one of a kind.

Delicate, colourful and just a little bit special.

The only difficult part is choosing a favourite... 🌸

Which one would you choose?

I still love seeing the whole Mitsuro Collection together ♡

This collection was such a lovely one to make - and definitely a learning curve for me too.

Every piece started with the same wax process, but each one developed its own shape and character. That is probably what I love most about Mitsuro - you never quite know how the wax will move or what will come from it.

There were quite a few trial runs and more than one sticky mess along the way, but seeing all the finished pieces together made it completely worth it.

You can see what is currently available on the website ♡

A little look at my new Mitsuro collection ♡

Each piece begins in Mitsuro wax, gently shaped by hand before being cast in recycled sterling silver.

The flowing lines are created in the wax itself - twisted, folded and stretched by hand until the movement feels right.

Soft, sculptural and organic, these are simple pieces with a quiet sense of detail.

Only a handful of finished pieces are available now - once sold, further pieces can be pre-ordered through the website ♡

From wax to finished silver ♡

A little look behind the scenes at the making of the Mitsuro Collection.

I loved making this collection and learning a completely new technique along the way!

Each piece begins with Mitsuro wax - gently warmed, blended, pulled and shaped by hand.

As the wax is worked, the most beautiful flowing lines and textures begin to appear - with every form becoming completely unique.

The finished wax pieces are then cast in recycled sterling silver, before each casting is carefully refined and finished by hand into an individual piece of jewellery.

It is a slow, tactile and slightly unpredictable process - but that is exactly what makes it so special.

From raw wax to beautiful, wearable pieces of art.

A little summer colour ♡

I’ve added a small selection of gemstone bracelets to the website - soft, easy pieces for everyday wear, or for adding a little colour to a summer stack.

Each bracelet is handmade with natural gemstone beads and finished with a small 925 sterling silver crinkle bead.

Available in Amethyst, Aquamarine, Fluorite, Labradorite, Moonstone and Rose Quartz.

Sculptural Twist studs and pendant ♡

Softly sculptural and full of movement, these pieces were created using Mitsuro Hikime - a traditional Japanese wax technique that creates the most beautiful natural lines and flow.

I love the way the silver seems to twist and fold around itself, forming soft curves and little ridges that feel almost naturally grown.

They have a simple, elegant feel, but still a lovely solid presence in sterling silver - easy enough for everyday, but special enough for evening too.

Hand formed first in Mitsuro wax, then cast in recycled sterling silver.

Quietly striking, tactile and full of texture ♡

A closer look at the Mitsuro ring ♡

A solid sterling silver ring with soft, flowing surface lines created from the way the Mitsuro wax was worked by hand before casting.

I love how it catches the light - the texture gives the piece movement without needing stones or extra detail.

It has an elegant, delicate look, but a lovely weight when worn. Not heavy, but substantial enough to feel special.

A handmade recycled sterling silver ring - simple, sculptural and full of texture.

A closer look at one of the first designs from my new Mitsuro collection ♡

This pendant began as Mitsuro wax - a beautiful Japanese wax technique where the form is created entirely by hand.

The wax is gently twisted, folded and stretched until these soft, flowing lines begin to appear. It’s a slow, delicate process that takes time, care and a feel for the material.

I love the organic outline of this piece, and the way the lines bend and curve so freely across the surface. It has a delicate, elegant feel, but it is not fragile - the silver has a lovely reassuring weight to it, making it feel both refined and substantial.

Once the original wax form is complete, it is cast in recycled sterling silver, keeping all those soft curves and little movements.

Simple, sculptural and quietly special.

Introducing the Mitsuro Collection ♡

I am so excited to finally share my new Mitsuro collection.

This collection has been created using Mitsuro Hikime - a traditional Japanese jewellery wax technique that creates the most beautiful organic lines, texture and flow.

I honestly fell a little bit in love with this process - although I should probably admit there were quite a few trial runs, some very strange-looking pieces of wax, and more than one sticky mess along the way.

But that is also part of what makes it so special.

The wax is gently warmed and shaped by hand, then pulled and worked until soft flowing striations start to appear. It feels fluid, organic and a little bit unpredictable - which is exactly what makes it so beautiful.

Nothing is too perfect or forced. The lines, ridges and little imperfections are part of the piece.

Once cast in recycled sterling silver, all of that movement is captured in metal - the texture, the flow, the softness, the quiet details.

Each casting is then transformed by hand into individual pieces, from earrings and pendants to rings - and soon, a bracelet too.

The collection is now live on my website, with selected pieces coming to store soon.

Have a little look via the link in my bio, and follow along if you’d like to see more of the making, process and individual pieces over the next few days.

I really hope you love it as much as I have loved making it.

After a lot of trial, error and learning, I’ve finally made some wax pieces I’m really happy with.

I’ve been working with Mitsuro Hikime, a beautiful technique that creates soft, stretched textures and more organic sculptural forms. It has taken time to understand how the wax moves, how much to work it, and when to stop.

Some pieces really didn’t work, but each one helped me get closer to the direction I had in mind.

These pieces are still very much in process. The next step is casting them in silver, before they can be cleaned, finished and made into jewellery for the new collection.

It will take a little time, but I’m excited to share more of this process as the pieces develop ✦

Please do follow along if you’d like to see how these wax forms become finished jewellery.
