Balancing a full-time job, a part-time job and fatherhood hasn't always been easy, but from the moment he held his son in his arms for the very first time, everything changed.
In that instant, he saw life differently. He felt a bond he couldn't put into words and a responsibility greater than anything he had ever known. Although his son couldn't speak, Shazen felt as though he was telling him everything he needed to hear.
Having grown up wishing his own father had been more present, he made a promise to himself to be there for his son, to think differently, make better decisions and build a future with him at the heart of it.
Today, he carries forward the values and lessons passed down by his own parents, taking the best of both and using them to become the best father he can be.
