Authentic sea glass, picked by hand, cleaned, sorted, left in its natural tumbled state!

History of sea glass

Little known facts about sea glass is that glass (from all kinds of bottles, vases, jars, etc.) has been tumbled and ground, by the ocean, until the sharp edges are smoothed and rounded. It takes 20-40 years, sometimes 100-200 years (ref.Wikipedia) to acquire its characteristic texture and shape. We have found all of our pieces; on display here, right in Puerto Vallarta in the Bay of Banderas. The ocean creates a work of art and we just enhance it a bit by designing jewelry pieces out of the sea glass we find!
