Artisans of Madre Selva

UNIQUE HANDCRAFTED JEWELLERY IN FASHION-FORWARD DESIGNS Many of these families earn their income as recyclers on the dump.

OFFERING WOMEN A NEW BEGINNING...

New Beginnings offers income generating opportunities to families who live in an extremely impoverished community near the Puerto Vallarta garbage dump. The jewellery project offers women an alternative to working on the dump, an opportunity to earn much needed income and a chance to explore their creativity. With the sale of each piece of jewellery, their confidence increases and they are encouraged in their hope for a better life. All proceeds from the sales of a bracelet, earrings, necklace... go directly to the woman who created it. New Beginnings and the women of Madre Selva thank you for your support. New Beginnings is a registered not-for-profit Canadian Charitable Foundation.
